Two scoops, please
I think we can all agree that any flavor of ice cream is even better in a pretty coupe.
Every year I think about buying an ice cream maker. I have vivid childhood memories of picking blackberries from an overgrown lot down the street, wrists and fingers stained purple, jeans snagged by the thorns. You knew a truly ripe berry by the way it would fall effortlessly into the bowl—if you had to pull, it wasn’t really ready. Once a year we’d get enough to churn them into summer’s best dessert.
The rest of the time, the ice cream maker sat on a shelf. I just can’t justify adding one to my crowded cupboards. But even if I don’t make ice cream these days, I certainly buy pints full, and have realized it’s even more of a pleasure to eat a scoop or two from a charming cup, like one of these:

I’m picturing these filled with fresh blueberries and vanilla ice cream, but you really can’t go wrong. If those cups above sell, you can find similar here, here, here, and here.
And in case you were in the dark, let me introduce you to the ice cream fork, another lovely little item to add to your collection. As of this writing, this seller has six of the sterling one pictured above at $33 each.
Below, you’ll find several more delightful ice cream forks, plus banana split bowls, stainless and glass dessert coupes, and ornate ice cream knives, ideal for serving semifreddo or ice cream icebox cakes.
This list will go paywall-free on Monday, June 23; paid subscribers will get a sneak peek for 24 hours for early shopping. If you want first dibs, that’s the way to go.

Stainless dessert coupes are all the rage, but often the listings involve shipping from Europe. These Alessi gelato coupes from the 1970s are already in Florida. These silver Champagne coupes might work wonderfully for these purposes as well.

Of course you can get ice cream cups in a scoop shop’s rainbow of colors, including frosted lime green ($29 for four), pale pink ($60 for 3), cobalt ($19 for 4), and ruby red with amber stems ($89 for 4).

Ooof, these amber stems also gorg.
And there’s this multicolored set.
And these bubble-base glasses would be so chic as a dessert move. Stop me, won’t you?

For larger sundaes and banana splits, a hobnail dish like this feels right, and you can get a set of six for $35. Similar here if you miss out on the first one.

I promised you a few more forks: the shell design on this guy feels right on trend. But the ones above also have my number.

Once upon a time, bricks of ice cream—sometimes with a hidden shape in the center—were apparently sliced for parties instead of scooping.
Maybe this explains why some cake knives are also often marked “ice cream knives.” Some of these are massive or elaborate and quiet expensive; here’s a more budget-friendly silverplate version in addition to the one pictured above.
I vote for the Murano glass ones!
Per usual I want all of these! And, I will put in a vote for buying an ice cream maker.
